Lawsons is an independent bike shop that has been in Somerford for nearly 40 years.
Our wide range of cycles for all ages include makes such as Raleigh, Dawes, GT, Mongoose, Probike, Python and Haro. From Town and Country to Mountain Bikes, Trials and BMX. We also carry a wide range of scooters, including JD Bugs, Micro, Slamm and MGP. We also stock a comprehensive range of accessories too.
We do not sell over the internet as we feel customers should try before they buy. All our bikes are sold fully assembled and ready to go and we are more than happy to fit those added accessories, racks, mudguards and comfy saddles etc to make the bike perfect for you.
For families we have a variety of equipment from child seats to tag-a-longs and child trailers. Don’t forget the essentials such as reflective vests, helmets, lights and more.
Same day repairs and bicycle service may be available with no need for a booking. However in the summer time and on sunny days if you require your bike back swiftly we do recommend giving a quick call to check availability and expected time to complete the work. We would like to be able to give estimates over the phone however apart from simple repairs it is easier to get a clearer picture on what is required with any bike if you bring it into the shop. We stock a wide range of standard components but if a higher grade or obsolete item is required as well as any specific accessories you would like added we may have to order these in which may take a few days. As with our service you are welcome to ring to check stock and we do our best to advise over the phone.
To buy any bike or scooter on our savings club a minimum deposit of 15% is required. We do ask that regular payments are made with the balance being cleared within 6 months on bikes over £200 or 3 months on bikes under £200.
PLEASE NOTE: THE DEPOSIT ON A BIKE OR SCOOTER IS A NON REFUNDABLE RESERVATION FEE, HOWEVER IF THE ITEM IS NO LONGER REQUIRED THE INITIAL DEPOSIT CAN BE USED TOWARDS ANOTHER ITEM IN STORE.
